Let’s get right to it!! Whitehall’s yearly Bazaar is this Saturday starting at 8:00 am. They do it up right- serving breakfast and then chili, soups & stews at lunch. The bazaar will feature lots of handmade or decorated items of all kinds as well as food: bread, cookies, pies candy, sauces and jellies. There will also be a silent auction and a white elephant room. Whitehall UMC is located on hwy 14w. The Bazaar runs through mid –afternoon.
Flower Ridge UMC is also having a yard and bake sale on Saturday starting at 7 am. Flower Ridge is located on hwy 15 S toward Noxapater. A fella oughta get up early and check them both out.
Lobutcha Volunteer Fire Dept is selling Boston Butts as a fundraiser. They are $20 each and can be picked up on Nov. 13 . They will also have stew for sale on that Saturday. Contact a member or call 662-724-2903 or 662-803-2272.
The Judgement House Drama is still going on this weekend at South Louisville Baptist. If you haven’t made it there yet- times are 3-9 pm Saturday & Sunday. Call the church at 662-773-3032 for reservations. There is no cost.
And don’t forget – Noxapater’s "Day In The Park" at Mollie Estes/JW Young Park on Saturday October 30 from 10:00 til 2:00. Entertainment and $7 BBQ Plates. You can get tickets in advance for the plates from any Noxapater Alliance member.

It’s another Fall Football Feast around the area. Last night Nanih Waiya made another impressive showing by knocking off East Oktibbeha 47-6. With a # 2 ranking, the Warriors are in the driver’s seat for post season play. Amory comes to town to take on the Wildcats. After a tough loss to Noxubee last week, Louisville looks to rebound before heading into the post season. Oak Hill Academy comes to Winston to take on the Patriots who look destined for post season play as well. Noxapater has a tougher road with two games remaining that are must wins if they hope to continue playing. The Tigers travel to Edinburg tonight.

And finally, it’s still a week away but the Stew Stomp and Veteran’s Day Parade and Celebration are coming up on Nov. 6. There will be lots of activities starting with a pancake breakfast at FUMC and continuing till the final judging of stews that afternoon. We’ll have more about this next week.
